Weaver Bird stocks fabulous and unusual textiles for quilting, soft furnishings and fashion
There was lots of excitement recently at the Vukuzakhe Support Group in Natal, South Africa when the needlecraft group unpacked a brand new sewing machine with funds that Weaver Bird had raised for them. The money came from the profit on the sale of embroidered landscape panels made by the group and some generous donations. The funds also supported the soup kitchen and the purchase of sewing thread.
